About Paul
Paul E. Hill has worked principally as a primary school teacher in Grimsby (UK). He has taught Philosophy with both the WEA and on an extra-mural basis with The University of Hull. He became a Christian quite late on in life, though his wife, who died a few years ago, was one of the Church of England’s pioneering new women priests. For the past few years, Paul has served as a Lay Reader in his local parish, where he regards himself as ‘A teacher of the faith' and 'A philosopher for Christ’. He has also worked as a volunteer adviser with the CAB. He chairs Louth Film Club, a provider of distinctive cinema in the region. He holds a first-class BA, largely in Philosophy, an MA in Philosophical Theology, a PhD in Philosophy and the degrees of BEd & MEd, which included History, Philosophy and Psychology. His interests include writing, cinema, music and good food, drink and conversation - and playing Ingress on his smartphone (Level 9). He has written several books, available on Amazon as Kindle books or paperbacks, largely concerning philosophy. See page on Publications.
